Ladies for Life

Nov. 1 round-up

Posted on: November 1, 2008

Here I Stand, I Can Do No Other. I’ll second that.

I can’t seem to find a way to embed the video, or even link to it directly, but the Assemblies of God USA website‘s top video right now is “Every Vote Counts” and the primary theme is pro-life. There’s a pdf transcript of the closing part of the video here.

Baptist Press has a monthly Life Digest.

The Lutheran Church – Missouri Synod stance on abortion is here (pdf file). There is also a Lutherans for Life organization.

Former Miss America Angela Perez Baraquio urges a pro-life vote for President. Now a grade school teacher, she has a video among those featured at Norma McCorvey, aka “Jane Roe” of the Roe v Wade case, also has a pro-life video there. (You do know she’s a Catholic now, don’t you?) If you prefer YouTube, the JustOneJudge YouTube channel is here.

A group that parades under a Catholic name but ignores church teaching is urging members to block pro-life activity at both Catholic and Protestant churches this weekend. Priests for Life has put them on notice that a large number of people have said they are prepared to file lawsuits if blocked.

As always, feel free to use the comment box to add to the round-up.

Welcome. This is just another place for pro-life ladies to meet and share and offer support to one another.
