Ladies for Life

Upcoming events

Posted on: May 5, 2009

If you’re in the Portland, Oregon, area, there’s a free Hands For Life Workshop this Friday and Saturday. It’s billed as an event for learning “practical ways to help the unborn and their mothers.” (Sorry about the short notice. I just found out, via Vital Signs blog.)

Lutherans For Life National Conference will be July 24-25, 2009, in St. Louis, Missouri.

The National Day of Prayer (for the United States of America) is this Thursday.

What else? Feel free to tout small or local pro-Culture-of-Life events, as well as big events, here in the comments, and don’t be afraid to plug something that’s still a year or so off, as well as something that’s closer to the wire. And, for the record, this is not just for events in the USA. Plus, online happenings, such as blog carnivals, also qualify.

I would ask that you restrict yourself to events that are likely to be suitable for self-respecting ladies (that being our niche around here).

Added: The 2009 Crossroads pro-life walks across the United States will start May 23 in Seattle, San Francisco, and Los Angeles, and aim to meet up in Washington D.C. on August 15. They also will have a Canadian walk from Toronto to Ottawa, July 31-August 15.

Welcome. This is just another place for pro-life ladies to meet and share and offer support to one another.
