Included in the article is another example of a media reporter deliberately misrepresenting the participants in a pro-life march.

Today’s Family Talk broadcast was Sexuality & Singles -1, and featured Mrs. Elisabeth Elliot. Much of the interview covered topics and information also available (they said) in the book Passion & Purity, by Elliot. Mrs. Elliot offers hope and suggestions for helping today’s singles navigate in a world that falsely assumes that purity isn’t possible, or isn’t a blessing.

One of the highlights of the interview is where they talk about Mrs. Elliot getting a lengthy standing ovation after a talk calling college students to purity. There is, they note, a hunger for putting right above wrong, and a realization that the world’s way doesn’t deliver what it advertises.

Pro-lifers, there will be a goodly gathering at the Rose Bowl on March 27, and you’re invited.

Even if you don’t think you can make it to the event, please go check out the website. It’s yet another of those projects run primarily by young people, and they are doing an excellent job.

Amongst other things, they are compiling pro-life videos at the site, and ask that people send them their favorites. Have at!

More good coverage of a teen putting her talents to good use, and speaking out for disabled people.

Don’t let the Old Media tell you how many people march in March for Life events. Or tell you, very oddly, that only old folks are out there opposing abortion. Far from it. (I really enjoyed this video.)

If you see a college student walking around barefoot this week, he might be trying to save lives.

Gotta love it.

C-FAM is asking young people from around the world to sign a petition defending human dignity and human rights. They are hoping to use it to counter some of the policies and programs of the United Nations.

I hadn’t heard of this before, but every year (since 2006) young people from all over the United States wash cars on the same day, to raise money for local pregnancy care centers. This year’s Wash for Life date is September 18.

To see if there’s a car wash scheduled near you, go here.

I like this idea, don’t you?

Added: I wondered about non-USA participation. They’ve beat me to it. From the Wash for Life website: Wash for Life: Kenya.

Welcome. This is just another place for pro-life ladies to meet and share and offer support to one another.
